Asif Iqbal and Hindi Movies

Many of you know that, I used to live in Kuwait, like a Gajillion Bajillion years ago; Ten to be exact. Well over the Tech years, I had been steering away from my Kuwaiti Lifestyle. But, something happened in San Diego that broke that dam of distance with a tidal force of memories. I met a very old friend of mine from Kuwait.

Asif Iqbal was the captain of my Cricket team in 1988. I was like 11. I last saw him in Kuwait in 1995. And then again in 1997. And never again. Mostly my fault. But now that we met again, we had a lot of things to talk about. Lot of friends whose faces are a blur, and some names are forgotten. His memory on the other hand is sharp like that of the Elephant, Dr. Tarek Taha.

Asif is into Hindi Movies. We watched a Bangla movie, "Chokher Bali" and a Hindi Movie, "Swadesh". No, things aren't that boring in San Diego. I can't believe I am writing this blasphemy for all to see. But, Swadesh, if you forwarded through all the songs, actually had some content.

We played some Tennis. I think Time does not change some things. I still can kick Asif's ass in any sport. Over all we had a lot of fun catching up.

well you know hahed, I don't know why one would choose to steer away from their past unless they had something to hide, hmmm... post traumatic defense syndrome?

anyway, the hindi movies were mostly for your benefit, to help you get back your desiness... besides don't even act like you don't like hindi movies, i saw the way you were like drooling while watching the aishwarya, ok that part is understandable, a lot of people tend to do that. anyway, it was more like you were concentrating so hard watching the movies, i thought that someone asked you to critique them or something.

About the ass kicking at any sport, only time will tell, as far as I remember you only won by one point in our tennis game and then wussed out coz it was too hot and sunny for you. well next time ar chance dimu na tore.
Welcome to San Diego!!!

Aish - as in Aishwarya - was in Chokher Bali. I think she did a good job there. I tried to find flaws, like I do with Britney and Jessica, but it was not easy.

She actually seems to be learning how to act.

She was playing a Hindu Bengali Widow, back in the day. And she played the part quite convincingly. As far as speaking Bengali, I still have my doubts that they might have dubbed Bangla over her lip synching.

Dude you need to get off your booze, or whatever it is you are tripping on.

Praising Hindi movies like that; blatantly in front of everyone, for all to see, that is just outrageously uncalled for. Get a grip man. Behave.

But about Aishwariya, you are right; she is hot. And keep your "sticky" fingers off of her. She is mine.
